Puppets Amongus

If you're looking for an inexpensive way to celebrate Chinese New Year with the kids, there's a puppet show at 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through February 9 at Puppets Amongus Playhouse, 657 W. Saint Mary's Road.

The puppet show tells the story of how silk was discovered when a cocoon fell into the teacup of the Chinese empress.

Admission is $8 for teens and adults and $6 for kids. Score a $1 discount if you walk, bike or ride the bus.
