A jury in Pima County Superior Court on Wednesday convicted Keanu Deano Castaneda of first-degree murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Prosecutors argued that Castaneda shot and killed 17-year-old Carlos Sandoval on Dec. 31, 2011, because he planned to steal a pound of marijuana from the teen.
