A Tucson man who pleaded guilty to child pornography charges was sentenced to five years in prison on Monday.

Pima County Superior Court Judge Teresa Godoy sentenced Jessvan Arturo Hernandez to the prison term following his guilty plea to two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the second degree.

Hernandez, 29, was arrested in March after a Tucson Police Department investigation discovered he had downloaded child pornography images and videos.

In addition to prison, Hernandez must serve lifetime probation, register as a sex offender and submit to any counseling adult probation services orders.
