Michael Emanuel Ortega, 25, was sentenced to three years in prison for his role in the death of Javier Bejarano, 22, in May 2011.

Ortega and three other men were arrested for killing Bejarano after a drug deal went sour. Ortega and fellow defendants Julian Zepeda and Moises Fierros pleaded guilty in June to illegally conducting an enterprise.

The fourth defendant, Kristin Olea, is scheduled for sentencing in November.
