A man accused of conspiracy to sell marijuana and illegally conducting an enterprise was sentenced to five years probation on each charge on Monday by Pima County Superior Court Judge Scott Rash.

Moises Fierros, 21, pleaded guilty to the charges in June. He and three other defendants were accused in a 2011 drug deal gone wrong that resulted in the shooting death of Javier Bejarano, 22.

Fierros and the others had arranged to sell four pounds of marijuana but Bejarano tried to rob them of the drugs. He was shot and killed in the incident.
