Sentencing for a former University of Arizona student who was convicted of murdering her roommate is scheduled for this morning.

Galareka Harrison was convicted of first-degree murder in 2008 for the 2007 killing of Mia Henderson, 18. The two had been dorm mates at UA.

Following her 2008 life sentence, Harrison's new attorneys successfully argued that additional facts about past abuse she suffered should be heard. A new sentencing as ordered in 2012.
