Pima County Superior Court has a new way for visitors to find daily court calendar information.

Court officials have installed 12 flat-panel television monitors throughout the building that will display daily court calendar information.

Five of the screens have been installed near the west entrance on the ground floor of the Superior Court building. Those 60-inch screens will display the entire daily calendar.

A single 50-inch monitor on each of the courthouse on floors 2 through 8 will show calendar information for the courtrooms specific to that floor.

Pima County Superior Court Administrator K. Kent Batty said the calendar information displayed would include case number, courtroom and judges name. Some cases won’t be displayed for privacy interests, Batty said. Those would include mental-health cases and others requiring privacy.

Each of the monitors cost about $1,000, Batty said.

The new monitors are scheduled to be fully operational by the beginning of October.
