Testimony in the first-degree murder trial of a Tucson man accused of killing a former business partner began Wednesday.

Bryan Peter Foshay, 37, stands accused of first-degree murder in January 2012 death of Brian Blackwell, 39, who was shot in the head in his apartment on the 8500 block of East Old Spanish Trail.

Prosecutors argue Foshay killed Blackwell after a dispute over a medical marijuana growing enterprise they had.

Foshay's defense said they intend to prove their client was home watching movies with his kids when one of Blackwell's neighbors reported hearing a gunshot coming from the victim's apartment.
