A Pima County Superior Court Judge has severed the cases of three people accused in the murders of an elderly Tucson couple.

Judge Scott Rash, in response to a motion from defense attorneys, ruled to have the cases against Kyle Drattlo and Christopher Terry separated.

Drattlo, Terry and Brianna Harding were accused in the July murders of Drattlo's grandparents, Erskin Fulgham and Mary Louise Fulgham.

Harding's case had already been severed from the others.

Last week, the Pima County Attorney's Office filed motions notifying the court of plans to seek the death penalty against all three defendants.
