A new independent school opening in downtown Tucson is enrolling kindergartners through third-graders.

The IDEA School, slated to open Aug. 11, is committed to real-world, project-based-learning grounded in student inquiry.

The school has also partnered with the Food Conspiracy Co-op, which will provide students with fresh, healthy, organic, largely locally-sourced lunches every day.
