Green Fields Country Day School announced the hiring of two new teachers and an academic coach.

The school welcomes music teacher Robin Morales, history teacher Anthony Joseph Hagmann and academic coach Meaghan M. Marshall, according to a school news release.

Morales has taught music performance in southern Arizona for more than 15 years, directing both instrumental and choral programs. She also authored "A Performer's Guide to the American Musical Theater Songs of Kurt Weill," which was published in 2008.

Hagmann, who graduated from Columbia University with bachelor's degree in American History, has taught history at the American School of Tangier in Morocco and two charter schools in the Phoenix area.

Marshall, who has a master's degree from the University of Arizona, previously taught at Laguna Elementary School in the Flowing Wells School District.

She's a behavioral support specialist trained in Bal-A-Vis-X, a new program at Green Fields that uses rhythmic exercises to improve a student's concentration and academic performance.
