CITY LAUNCHES PETITION DRIVE TO GET KROMKO A LIFE

An anonymous group is asking residents to sign a petition to place an initiative on the fall ballot banning male model John Kromko from purchasing ball point pens and clipboards.

"Tucsonans frustrated with Kromko’s irritating petitions want an opportunity to ban him from wasting paper this fall," said one petition passer, upset about the disappearing rain forests. One signer remarked, “Where do I sign? Old hippies are cute--but enough is enough. It seems there’s a Kromko on every corner. Does he have a job?” One activist sporting a giant flyswatter with,"Gadfly swatter" written across the top had gotten hundreds of signatures by mid-day.
