Tucson area emergency room physicians are gearing up for the Tucson Rodeo says Dr. Morris Feldman, Trauma center Director for St. Propylene’s Hospital. “Every trauma surgeon I know is excited about the various procedures we get to perform during rodeo week on the rodeo performers. Last year I did a radical spur removal, treated a rare case of lariat burn, did 2 rectal horn extractions, saw 3 cases of saddle rash, one awful case Hoof-in-face disease, 8 bobble-head concussions, 2 collapsed spines and I successfully completed a life-saving head transplant where we were able to save the Stetson. Rodeo rocks!“
