Tucson voters living in Wards 3, 5 and 6 should keep a lookout for the city’s primary election packet over the next few days.

The city mailed the publication today which contains sample ballots and instructions on how to vote.

While the choice is definitely yours to make this August, your options are limited.

None of the three council races have a contested primary.

So as long as the candidates listed capture a nominal number of votes, they will move on to the November general election.

Once again the 2013 Primary and General Elections will be by mail.

The primary election is on August 27, 2013.

Primary election ballots will be mailed on Thursday, August 8, 2013.

If you happen to need a replacement ballot, you can visit the City Clerk Elections Center located at 800 E. 12th Street.

The ballot replacement center will open on Friday, August, 9. It will run Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. through primary election day.
