Early voting is underway for school district elections and Vail’s proposed incorporation.
Ballots were mailed Thursday, October 10 for voters listed on the permanent early voting list in Vail, Catalina Foothills School District and the Sunnyside School District.
Ballots for every registered voter in the Altar Valley School District was also mailed on Thursday.
The Pima County Recorder’s Office asks voters to allow a few days to receive your ballot before contacting its office.
Even if you’re not registered on the permanent early voting list, you still have options to cast your ballot before the November 5 election:
You can vote early at any of the following Recorder Office’s voting sites:
• Downtown at 115 N Church Ave. in downtown
• Eastside at 6920 E. Broadway Blvd, Suite D
• Southside at 6550 S. Country Club Dr.
Or you may order a vote-by-mail ballot by visiting the Recorder Office’s web site at www.recorder.pima.gov and click on the link for “Early Ballot Request,” or download a request form to mail in. You may also order a ballot by phone at (520) 724-4330; out- of-town voters may call the toll free number at (800) 775-7462 extension 4330.
All vote-by-mail ballot requests must be received by the Recorder’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013.
City residents won’t receive their ballots until late next week.
The City Clerk’s Office will mail ballots to every registered Tucson voter on Thursday, October 17.
