Tucsonans planning an early evening drive up to “A” Mountain next Sunday will have to adjust their schedule.

Vehicle access will be restricted to Sentinel Peak Park beginning at 4 p.m. on November 3.

The road will be closed due to the University of Arizona Alumni Association's Annual Lighting of the Flares event. The event runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The gate will remain locked until Monday morning at 9 a.m. However, pedestrians can still access the park.
