 Olympic gold medalist, gymnast Shannon Miller, is scheduled to speak in Tucson on Thursday, Feb. 28 at the Hilton El Conquistador.

Tickets for the evening event are $25 and include food, one complimentary drink of wine beer or soda, dessert and the keynote speech. A cash bar will also be available. Registration is required.

The event, hosted by Northwest Medical Center, will be held at the Hilton El Conquistador, 10000 N. Oracle Road.

The event is called "Uprooting Challenges, Planting Hope."

The evening begin with a health fair and reception at 5:30 p.m. Miller is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m.

Miller will share her journey from athlete to entrepreneur, mother and ovarian cancer survivor. She is America's most decorated female gymnast, with seven Olympic and nine World Championship medals.

The event is part of Northwest Medical Center's Healthy Woman community program, held on the fourth Monday of every month.
