The Arizona Department of Transportation will discuss its tentative 2015-2019 construction plan at a Marana meeting.

Officials will outline improvements to the state highway system and infrastructure maintenance.

The Five-Year Program is updated annually. ADOT continually makes adjustments to funding and priortizes projects. Last year, the department cut $350 million from the 2014-2018 Five-Year Program due to decreased federal funding.

Funding for the 2015-2019 Tentative Five-Year Program includes $1.8 billion for greater Arizona, $1.7 billion for Maricopa County, $349 million for Pima County and $.1 billion for aviation.

A public hearing and board meeting about the program will take place at 9 a.m. April 11 at Marana Town Council Chambers, 11555 W. Civic Center Drive.
