An AdvancED accreditation team has recommended Amphitheater Public Schools for accreditation.

The Amphitheater School District has “a strong commitment to a common culture resulting in a set of positive beliefs and behaviors which drive decision-making and professional practice,” lead evaluator Mike Klopfenstein said in a news release. “Every student is well known by at least one adult who advocates for them.”

The district will receive a detailed report from the external review team in May. Accreditation notification is expected by June.

“We were very excited and committed to going through this rigorous evaluation process," Amphi superintendent Superintendent Patrick Nelson said in a news release. "The AdvancED evaluation team recognized quickly the many strengths of our district, and also made recommendations for areas that need greater attention.”
