The First Friday Artisans Market will round up handcrafted art from more than 30 area artists. Silversmithing, desert sculptures, photography, enameled jewelry and custom dinnerware are among the varied work that will be on display.

The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 6 at 3840 West River Road, and will repeat the first Friday of each month through May. Starting in November, market hours will stretch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
