AT&T expanded its cutting-edge 4G LTE wireless network to parts of Oro Valley, allowing those with newer smartphones to access faster downloads and Web surfing.

The network launched in Tucson Dec. 18. The company continues to expand it through the area.

“We’ve seen positive response from customers on our 4G LTE launch, and as today’s expansion shows, we’re continuing our rollout of fast 4G LTE speeds to more areas of Tucson,” said Jerry Fuentes, President, AT&T Arizona and New Mexico, in a news release. “Consumers are asking for more from the technology they use in their daily lives, and we are investing to meet and exceed their needs.”
