Though the weather is just beginning to cool, plans are afoot for the eighth annual Oro Valley Holiday Parade.

The theme of the Dec. 8 parade is “Celebrating Oro Valley Small Business,” and local companies are invited to participate. Non-businesses can enter too.

The parade will start at 9:30 a.m. at Ironwood Ridge High School, 2475 W. Naranja Drive, and wind up at Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive.

It’s $50 to enter the parade, and applications are due Nov. 26. Sponsorships start at $100. The title sponsor is Hiremath Family Dentistry, and platinum sponsors are the town of Oro Valley and the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Click here to apply; apply at the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce Office, 7435 N. Oracle Road, Suite 107; or call organizer Jackie Devery at 404-2825.
