The nonprofit Catalina Community Services is throwing a meet and greet event for prospective volunteers.

The nonprofit provides services, food and clothing to those in need in the northwest Tucson area, as well as Southeast Pinal County and Vail.

The event goes from 1 to 2 p.m. May 16 at 3535 E. Hawser Street. Organizers will discuss the nonprofit's services and programs, as well as opportunities to volunteer.
