Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge No. 2815 is sponsoring a Flag Day celebration in SaddleBrooke.

The festivities get underway at 9 a.m. June 14 in front of the SaddleBrooke Clubhouse, 64500 E. SaddleBrooke Blvd. SaddleBrooke Homeowners' Association No. 1 is co-sponsoring the event, which has happened annually since 2002. The celebration happens at the base of a flagpole commemorating 9/11 victims.

At the ceremony, lodge officers will conduct the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Flag Day ritual. The Golder Ranch Fire District Color Guard, Coyote Country Cloggers, American Legion and guest speakers from law enforcement agencies will make appearances, and refreshments will be served. Veterans who attend the ceremony will be recognized.
