A Los Angeles singer-songwriter with ties to Tucson has a gig slated for Plush, 340 E. Sixth St., Sunday night

Kathleen Grace will perform tracks from her latest release, "No Place to Fall" in the lounge starting at 7 p.m.

Grace is a born-and-raised Tucsonan. She attended Canyon del Oro High School. Some of her fondest memories were playing in the washes and deserts around her home as a kid.

These days, in addition to the music career, Grace serves as head of the vocal jazz department at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California.

Plush is at 340 E. Sixth St.
