Mountain Shadows Presbyterian Church will host a workshop that will help people understand aging.

Titled "Mindful Aging: A Lifelong Learning Workshop," the event goes from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the church, 3201 E. Mountainaire Road. Topics include aging's impact on the body, intellect and emotions. Psychotherapist Sandy Mauck and transpersonal psychologist Annick Safken will present the workshop.

Admission is $35, with discounts available for church members. The fee is a suggested freewill offering, and the event is open to those who can't afford it. For more information, call 825-7858.
