St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 1431 W. Magee Road, will host “An Evening in Africa” at 6:30 p.m. March 14.

The event will feature African food, entertainment and stories from African refugees who have had malaria or lost loved ones to the disease. There will also be Burundi basket weaving and loom weaving.

The suggested donation to attend is $35, with proceeds going to the global United Methodist Church’s Imagine No Malaria campaign.
