The Pima County Department of Transportation is holding an open house meeting to inform the public about Phase III of the Cortaro Farms Road-Magee Road construction project. Construction will take place in the corridor between North Thornydale and North Oracle Roads.

The event goes from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 1431 W. Magee Road.

This is the final phase of the project. The phase includes adding a median, widening the roadway to four lanes, building bike lanes and sidewalks, improving drainage, and landscaping, This  project is slated be completed by spring 2015.
