Pima County and contractor Southern Arizona Paving are making over West Orange Grove Road in a project staled to last 12 to 14 months.

Construction will occur along the road along a 1.2-mile span from North Camino de la Tierra to North La Cholla Blvd. The area will be widened, including adding a center turn lane. Pedestrian and biking areas will also be added, public art will be applied, drainage will be improved and the pavement will be upgraded.

Motorists should expect delays and look for alternative routes.
