Cowboy artist's paintings on display at Oracle State Park

The paintings of Lee Kannally, a self-taught cowboy artist and World War I veteran, will be on display at Oracle State Park.

The exhibit, opens Nov. 23 at the Kannally Ranch House at Oracle State Park. Kannally's impressionistic oil paintings show cowboys at work and play in the rugged outdoors. Kannally lived from 1888 to 1971. The exhibit includes 23 paintings on loan from the Oracle Historical Society.

The exhibit is open between 8 and 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through April. The park entrance is located off Mount Lemmon Road in Oracle. Park admission is $7 per vehicle.
