Flowing Wells fashion and design students win at state competition

Fashion and design students from Flowing Wells High School won several awards at a statewide competition in April dubbed the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Students Taking Action with Recognition.

Flowing Wells students won three silver awards and four gold awards. Students Zoey Tow, Carlos Osuna, Itzel Herrera and Maria Vazquez will move on to compete at a July national competition in San Antonio.

The team is coached by fashion teacher Kim Loyd.
