Flowing Wells High School's FFA club took first place at the Agriscience Fair at the state convention at the University of Arizona June 6-8.

The Flowing Wells group won first place in its category for a Food Science project titled "Colored Eggs?" The students studied the effects of organic food coloring in poultry feed.

The school's FFA chapter was also recognized as a Bronze National Chapter for its community service, as well as service to its members, during the school year.
