The Flowing Wells Unified School District is hosting its annual Fit Fest and paying tribute to superintendent Nicholas Clement, who is retiring June 30.
David Baker will take over July 1.
The free event goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 16 at Flowing Wells High School, 3725 N. Flowing Wells Road. Family fitness activities — including Zumba, rock climbing, dodge ball, running and tennis — as well as a snack will be provided. Clement's retirement ceremony will be part of the festivities. Prizes, including fitness equipment and a Wii system, will be raffled off.
