Tom Brandhuber was named Golder Ranch Fire District's new Assistant Fire Chief.

Brandhuber, Rural/Metro's former Fire Chief, will start Dec. 9.

“He is well known in our community as a progressive and approachable leader,” Golder Ranch Fire Chief Randy Karrer said in a news release. “These attributes will enhance our management team and I am excited to have Tom on board.”

Brandhuber replaces John Sullivan, who took a Fire Chief position in Georgetown, Texas in January.
