The Oro Valley Public Library, at 1305 W. Naranja Drive, is holding several events to celebrate its 10th birthday. They're all free. Call 229-5300 for more information.

• Today: Blast from the Past: Ten Years of Fun. Kids can learn cool facts about the library from its opening in 2002 to today. The library’s scrapbooks will provide glimpses of past programs and events, and fun games will challenge kids’ library knowledge. For children 6 to 12. 4-5 p.m.

• Friday: Happy Birthday, Oro Valley Public Library! — Special storytime about books and libraries. 10-11 a.m.

• Saturday: Books! Books! Books! Children’s Craft Program — Oro Valley Public Library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive. Children will create books of their own in this drop-in craft time. Each child will receive a new book of their choice and a goodie bag. For children 6 to 12. 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
