The Tucson Symphone Orchestra will conclude its 2013 series of kid-friendly, Oro Valley-set concerts Dec. 7.

The series, which is intended to connect children with music, is backed by the town of Oro Valley and the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance.

The 45 to 50-minute interactive concert will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 7 at the Oro Valley Town Hall Council Chambers, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive. The title of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet is "Welcome to Planet Earth, Glissandro!" and tells a story of an alien who attempts to meld his out-of-this-world sound with a brass quintet.

Admission is free. For more information, visit saaca.org/Just_for_Kids_.html online.
