The Marana Heritage Conservancy is firing up its bus to provide a tour of the town that goes off the beaten path.

The Surprising Marana bus tour touches on historical sites, exploring the area's heritage, dating back thousands of years. Naturalist and historian John Scheuring leads the tour, which departs from Crossroads at Silverbell Park, 7548 N. Silverbell Road.

Tour start at 9 a.m. and noon Nov. 2. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. To make a reservation, which is required, email joanfsmith@hotmail.com.
