Marana Main Street Festival is April 6

Music, a parade, art show, food and bed races will all be a part of April's Marana Main Street Festival.

The free festivities go from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 6 adjacent to  the Marana Municipal Complex, 11555 W. Civic Center Drive. There are multiple components to the event. The bed race, which is free to watch, starts at 10 a.m., with check-in for participating teams at 9 a.m. Squads race downhill on 100-yard courses on rolling beds. Registration is $15 per person or $75 per team until April 1, when prices increase to $20 per person. For more information, visit the race site at http://www.AzBedrace.org/ online.

Classic rock, jazz saxophone, bluegrass and country performers will take turns at the stage starting at 1 p.m.
