The towns of Oro Valley and Marana are teaming up to host the third annual Move Across 2 Ranges hiking challenge.

Open to those of all ages and abilities, the event takes place in the Tortolitas and Santa Catalinas. Hike lengths range from five to 21.5 miles.

The event goes from 6:30 a.m. to noon March 1. There is a post-event party called Managed the Move from 3 to 6 p.m. at Summit Hut, 7745 N. Oracle Road. There will be prize drawings, hors d'ouevres and live music.

Refistration is $30 and includes admission to the party. T-shirts and additional party tickets are both $15.
