Encouraging townsfolk to get out doors, Marana is celebrating National Park and Recreation Month by setting up booths at various times and locations this month.

The booths, which will allow visitors to enter a contest for giveaways and answer questions about what they like to do outdoors, will be available from:

* 5:30-7 p.m. July 11 and 25 Splash N' Dash at Ora Mae Harn Park, 13250 N. Lon Adams Road.

* 10-11 a.m. July 23, Community tour at Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, 15000 N. Secret Springs Drive.

* 5:45-7 p.m. July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 at Meet Me in Marana at Wade McLean Park, behind Coyote Trail Elementary School at 8000 N. Silverbell Road.
