Medicare Update Conference registration is underway

Pima Council on Aging Medicare Services is asking those who are approaching age 65 to attend Medicare Update Conference seminars that coincide with Medicare Open Enrollment, which is currently underway.

Medicare Open Enrollment ends Dec. 7.

Pima Council on Aging and Tucson Medical Center Senior Services are partnering for the five seminars.

"The annual Medicare Update Conference seminars are the best place to review your current Medicare choices and compare them to coverage that is available for next year to make sure you have a plan that is right for you," said PCOA Medicare Coordinator Lynn Heskett, in a news release.

Dates include:

* 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 22 at Ellie Towne Flowing Wells Community Center, 1660 W. Ruthrauff Road.

* 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Oct. 26 at the TMC Marshall Conference Center, 5301 E. Grant Road.

* 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 29 at Sun City Rancho Vistoso Social Hall, 1495 E. Rancho Vistoso Blvd.

* 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 12 at the West Social Center, 1111 Via Arco Iris in Green Valley.
