Home Instead Senior Care's Salute to Senior Service program is going to recognize senior volunteers for community contributions. One volunteer in each state will be able to name a charity to receive $500, while a national winner will be able to direct $5,000 to a charity.

The organization is accepting nominations through March 31.

Qualified nominees must be 65 or older and volunteer at least 15 hours a month. To get a nomination form, visit online.
