Oracle State Park will remain open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends year-round. Previously, the park has only been open on weekends October through April.

"The Friends of Oracle have been instrumental in working with Arizona State Parks on getting the park open year-round," executive director Bryan Martin said in a news release. "Without this group of dedicated volunteers we would not be able to staff the park for this amount of time."

To get to the park from Tucson, drive north on Oracle Road, which becomes Arizona 77, and follow Arizona 77 past Oracle Junction to the town of Oracle. In Oracle, follow American Avenue to a turnoff for Mount Lemmon and the park. Then continue just over a mile to the park entrance. The admission fee is $7 per vehicle.
