If you'd like to participate in the ninth annual Oro Valley Holiday Parade, now is the time to march into the application process.

School performing groups, community organizations, individuals and businesses are welcome to apply.

The parade, which celebrates the town's small businesses, will start at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 14 and last 90 minutes. The parade route starts east of Ironwood Ridge High School, 2475 W. Naranja Drive, and goes east along West Naranja Drive to the Oro Valley Public Library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive.

Catalina Community Services will collect non-perishable food items at the parade.
