Oro Valley police focus on intersections

With its High Visibility Enforcement (HiVE) program, Oro Valley police officers and Pima County Sheriff's deputies monitor certain intersections in order to get motorists to drive with more care.

This month, HiVE will go into effect at North Oracle Road at West Magee Road and West Suffolk Drive, with motorcycle officers watching the intersections at these times:

* 4-7 p.m. May 7.

* 7-10 a.m. May 13.

* 4-7 p.m. May 14.

* 7-10 a.m. May 22.

* 4-7 p.m. May 27.
