The Oro Valley Police Department will teach teens about law enforcement in a July program.

The department's Teen Academy goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 7, 8 and 9 at the deparment's training room at 11000 N. La Cañada Drive.

The free program is open to Oro Valley students ages 13-17 and offers free pizza, snacks and soda. There will be S.W.A.T., crime scene processing and K-9 unit demonstrations.
