Oro Valley receives national graphic design award

The City-County Communications and Marketing Association gave the town of Oro Valley an Award of Excellence in Graphic Design for its 2013 Marketing Brochure.

The award, which was announced Sept. 5, recognizes projects and concepts from local governments creative teams at a national level.

“This distinction is a testament to the quality of work Town staff is producing, not only with this brochure, but also with the website, ads and other marketing materials,” said town spokeswoman Misti Nowak, in a news release. “There’s a tremendous amount of talent in Oro Valley.”

Oro Valley's Communications and Economic Development staff created the brochure, which is meant to draw attention from businesspeople and tourists.
