Pima Paws for Life will offer dogs for adoption at its grand opening event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the new nonprofit's facility at 2509-2 W. Zinnia Ave.

The dogs are from the Pima Animal Care Center.

The event's activities also will include animal Reiki therapy demonstrations, a silent auction and raffle. Bring a new or gently-used dog toy for a free raffle ticket. There will be live music from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring LeeAnne Savage and SwingSet. Food will be available for purchase by Cheesy Rider and Pin Up Pastries.

The Twisted Tandoor will introduce its private label wine with 20 percent of proceeds benefiting Pima Paws for Life. Wine will be available for purchase by the bottle or glass from Bear Track Winery and Tap & Bottle.

The event is free and open to the public.
