The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, 15000 N. Secret Springs Drive, is stretching its Independence Day celebration through three days. It starts with the July 4 Red, White and Bluegrass Barbecue, which includes fireworks and dining, is open to the public.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain Red, White and Bluegrass Barbecue buffet, which goes from 5:30 to 8 p.m. July 4, will offer ribs, chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob and other foods, as well as country music. The cost is $44 for adults and $22 for children.

There will also be wine and tequila tastings for $20 each, food and ice cream trucks available, as well as special meals available at the resort's restaurants. Festivities run through July 6.
