Second-grade students at Amphitheater Unified School District's Walker Elementary School created a song about kindness that has made local airwaves.

Under the guidance of teacher Christopher Kostin, the students wrote, performed and recorded the song, which local indie radio station KXCI 91.3-FM.

Titled "Give Them Kindness," the song addresses such themes as friendship, dignity and perseverance. All 30 students in the class sang at least one line in the performance.
